Spread Disease and Death in Plague Inc.: Evolved

Can you infect the world? With an entire research lab’s worth of new, free content launching in recent months, culminating in the contagious Custom Scenarios mode, there’s never been a better time to get infecting in the terrifyingly realistic disease simulation Plague Inc: Evolved.

Entirely redeveloped for console, the game has received a major visual overhaul from the original – full 3D disease models take you closer to your plague than ever before, city-cams show humanity’s struggle at street level, and the body scanner highlights the full effect of your mutations, organ by organ. What’s more, the game also includes all additional content and DLC ever released on mobile. The Neurax Worm lets you control the minds of those you infect, you can commandeer hordes of the undead with the zombie-creating Necroa Virus, and the Simian Flu (an official tie-in with the movie “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”) gives you the chance take over the planet with intelligent apes.

If that’s not enough, the Custom Scenarios mode – entirely new for Plague Inc: Evolved – now gives you access to the deadliest user-generated Plague Inc: Evolved content. A regularly updated stream of weird and wonderful plague types and worlds created by other players means infecting the world will never get boring. And it’s not just diseases – the Custom Scenarios mode has seen players stretch the definition of an infection to breaking point! Highlights at launch include:

  • Last Judgement – Awaken the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and bring judgement day to humanity
  • Primeval Anomalies – Teleport terrifying ancient creatures through portals into the modern world
  • Disco Fever – A new trend in music and dancing is sweeping the USA off its feet and threatening to go global.

We still have plenty more to come for Plague Inc: Evolved – new modes, cheats, scenarios and official disease types from Ndemic are in the pipeline, while the continuously updated community-made content should give you more than enough to strategize over in the meantime…
