R.B.I. Baseball 16 for Xbox One Is a Whole New Ball Game

The start of the regular baseball season is just around the corner – and we’re excited to bring R.B.I. Baseball back to the Xbox One for its third annual installment. R.B.I. Baseball 16 will debut as a digital download on March 29, and you’ll be able to purchase the game at participating retailers in the U.S. and Canada starting on April 5.

You may remember seeing Boston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts doing his best superhero impression when we announced the official cover back in January. Today, we are announcing something exclusive for Canadian fans: They’ll get their own cover, featuring none other than Blue Jays ace Marcus Stroman.

We’re also stoked that R.B.I. Baseball 16 will make its digital debut in more European regions than ever, including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands. U.S. gamers can pick the game up for $19.99, and countries outside the United States will be priced in local currency – including Canada, where it will run $29.99.

So what can you expect this year, besides fun, fast-paced, classic baseball gameplay? You’ll feel the action more than ever, with new fielding moves like dives, wall catches, and fake throws. Take control of your team’s career, with the ability to play the entire season, or simulate everything except the crucial games.

You can modify your lineup with complete MLB rosters, including over 1,100 MLBPA players – and you can even use substitution strategies, like double switches. We’ve also enhanced the gameplay experience by making improvements to our lighting and graphics, and our batting and pitching engines.

Get ready to play ball once again, with R.B.I. Baseball 16 later this month!
