Joule and Corebot Companions Spring into Action in ReCore’s Gameplay Debut

Today, we’re happy to unveil the first gameplay for ReCore, a new, original action-platformer game developed for Xbox One and Windows 10 by Keiji Inafune and his team at Comcept, in conjunction with the team at Armature Studio. Both studios were inspired to create ReCore from their respective experiences on the Mega Man and Metroid Prime franchises, and craft a new adventure for the modern generation. We were honored by the reception to ReCore’s debut at E3 last year, and have been working on making it a great experience that will live up to your expectations.

When I play as Joule Adams, ReCore’s heroine, I feel a terrific sense of speed, agility, and daring – the key ingredients of a great action-platformer. We want players to have this same experience, and to feel a strong bond with Joule’s Corebot companions: Mack, Seth, and Duncan. Check out the trailer above to see how fun it is to combine all of the characters’ abilities to overcome powerful foes and exploration challenges on the mysterious world of Far Eden.

As an Xbox Play Anywhere game, the Xbox and Windows 10 PC versions of ReCore will be included in a single purchase of $39.99 when it launches worldwide, starting September 13, 2016. For our diehard fans, we’ve partnered with TriForce on the Limited Collector’s Edition, featuring masterfully sculpted 14-inch-tall statues of Joule and Mack, for $179.99. We’re also happy to announce that we’ll offer Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts for Xbox 360 (and playable on Xbox One!) for fans who pre-order ReCore today.

Thanks for supporting ReCore!
