The Force is Strong in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Now Available for Pinball FX2
We at Zen Studios are simply thrilled that the latest table pack in our Star Wars Pinball lineup, Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens, is now available for Pinball FX2 on Xbox One and Xbox 360, and coming soon to Windows 10! We worked extremely close with the team at Lucasfilm to ensure that each of these tables was created with the utmost care and attention to detail and would turn out to be the best tables we’ve ever created.
Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens is an exciting two-pack that presents two different perspectives on the smash hit film. The first table, Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens, follows the events of the latest movie, teaming players up with members of the Resistance, including Rey, Finn and Poe as they take up arms against the First Order, led by Kylo Ren. The table has some fantastically unique features including table-transforming environments that will take you through several locations from the film, and twelve story modes that present the movie’s most exciting and action-packed moments.
Star Wars Pinball: Might of the First Order, the second table in the pack, turns the tables by putting players in command of the mighty First Order. Teaming up with stormtroopers, including Captain Phasma (who is represented on the table with her own 3D model), players will expand their rule beyond the outposts of civilization and enforce the First Order’s will throughout the galaxy. The table features a two-level playfield with a special ball lock, and a Star Destroyer that players can control with a special magnetic upside-down ramp!
Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens represents the latest of our 13 Star Wars Pinball tables for Pinball FX2 to date, not to mention dozens of other tables that we’ve released over the years. Since launching the original Pinball FX on Xbox 360 back in 2007, we’ve striven to ensure that we’re delivering epic pinball experiences to our fans. We’ve never looked to our pinball games as a “one and done” effort, instead working with numerous brands, ranging from Star Wars and Marvel to Valve, Telltale, Capcom and Fox to bring a steady stream of awesome new tables to the game.
In addition to making sure that our fans will always have something new and exciting to play, we also work hard to honor their purchases, allowing them to bring their Xbox 360 libraries to their Xbox Ones, and very soon, their Xbox One purchases to Windows 10.
2016 will be another huge year for Zen, starting out of the gate with Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens pack. Players can expect a lot of surprises from us, including new tables from beloved licenses, wholly original Zen creations, and some new stuff that we haven’t done in the past. In addition, we’re also getting ready to introduce the latest iteration of our digital pinball universe, so expect to see some information on that very soon!
