HBO Now Hero

Starting Today, You Can Watch HBO NOW on Xbox

Great news for HBO NOW subscribers: Starting today, you can access HBO’s standalone streaming service on your Xbox One and Xbox 360, via the HBO NOW app. That means instant access to all of HBO’s library of compelling series, unforgettable movies, thought-provoking documentaries, thrilling sports programs, and entertaining comedy and music specials. All you have to do is authenticate your existing HBO NOW account on your Xbox console, and you’ll be off and running.

“We’re thrilled to give HBO NOW subscribers easy access to all that HBO has to offer through their Xbox console,” said Jeff Dallesandro, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Digital Distribution and Business Development, HBO. “Xbox has proven to be a favorite platform for HBO audiences to stream their beloved HBO shows and movies, and we are excited about this next big step in our partnership.”

If you aren’t a current HBO NOW subscriber, you’re missing out; HBO’s current slate of original programming includes award-winning series like “Game of Thrones,” “Silicon Valley,” “Veep,” “Girls,” and “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.” And you can also watch full seasons of HBO’s classic shows, such as “True Blood,” “The Wire,” and “The Sopranos.”

In addition, HBO is also offering all Xbox users the opportunity to watch the “Game of Thrones” season 6 premiere after its April 24 premiere; the episode will be available on Xbox One and Xbox 360 to both HBO and non-HBO subscribers from April 25-28, giving all Xbox users a chance to watch the debut episode!

So authenticate your HBO NOW account now, or sign up for a one-month introductory trial (which then rolls into a monthly $14.99 subscription).
