Altair and PS3 – Separated at birth?

Some folks have pointed out pictures of the PS3 dev kit are floating around, and Team Xbox has posted them here.

While I know that Sony has a long way to go before they have it down to something I’d want in my living room..I could not help notice that the developer kit looks an awfully lot like the Altair 8080 computer I learned to program on in the early 80’s.
