Easing back on the Grid

After a week on the high seas and some fantastic diving in St. Thomas, I am now easing back on to the grid. Today was the last day of the cruise, so I am spending the evening with my family on land here in Florida before we all go our separate ways tomorrow. Tonight we had dinner at a small restaurant here in Ft. Lauderdale. It was a funny little place (Ill spare you the name) where the entertainment was a one man show with a guitar. After three or four songs I realized, he was doing nothing more than working his way down the Guitar Hero III play list.  Exactly. Song by song. All done acoustically. I think I was the only one in the audience that was on to what he was doing so it was pretty amusing.  Ill spend much of the day tomorrow cleaning out my inbox (700+ emails) and traveling back to Seattle to return to the office Tuesday.  While I saw a little of the news that I missed (like COD4 and Halo 3 maps and the new Doom and Assault Heros price) what are the other headlines in gaming this past week so I can just hit mark all as read in my feed reader ? I also need to catch up on my NCAA action, but at least my Orangemen are still hanging on, unlike e’s Ducks.

Speaking of e….special thanks to him for stepping in and guest posting while I was enjoying the clear waters and cool breezes of the islands. He did a great job…maybe I should have him post more?

One more thing, I should have some codes for the Battlefield: Bad Company beta waiting for me when I get back to the office. Once I get my hands on them, I’ll be sure to post how you can get in on the beta action.

I can’t wait to get back home and jump into Rainbow Six Vegas 2. How are you guys and gals enjoying it? .

So…what did I miss?

For those of you that inquired, I was about the Celebrity Millenium
for the 7 Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise. I was gong to post a review
of the cruise…I am just not so sure many of you will be interested.
Either way, I’ll talk more about my trip on my show this week.

Edit: Corrected Doom reference.
