Introducing Xbox Music on the Web

You may have noticed a lot of updates and new features for Xbox Music lately. Now, we’re unveiling another one for Xbox Music Pass subscribers that we’re really excited about. Today, we’re launching the first version of a Web-based Xbox Music experience giving Xbox Music Pass members access to instantly stream millions of songs right from their web browser.

With an Xbox Music Pass, you can now access your Music Pass collection and playlists on your PC through the top web browsers, including Internet Explorer 8+, Firefox 18+, Chrome 24+ and Safari 5.1+. The web version will also support Flash Player 11.0+.

This is just one of many steps in our journey to bring you all the music you love, any way you want it. In the last month, we unveiled new features for Xbox Music on Windows 8 and a redesign of the Xbox Music interface, coming to 22 countries when Windows 8.1 launches later this year on tablets, laptops and PCs. We’ll also roll out updates and add new features to the Web version of Xbox Music in the coming months as well as on Xbox One when it launches later this year.

There’s more to come from Xbox Music, so stay tuned. For more information on Xbox Music, go to http://www.xbox.com/en-US/music.
