Over the weekend, we joined forces with Variety to honor Jimmy Kimmel at its fourth annual “Power of Comedy” event. The gala brought together some of Hollywood’s most talented (and funniest!) comedians like Aziz Ansari, Paul Scheer, Adam Pally and Joel McHale to benefit The Noreen Fraser Foundation—a non-profit organization on a mission to support groundbreaking women’s cancer research and raise awareness of the importance of early detection efforts.
Xbox One was the presenting sponsor of the evening and was integrated throughout the show beginning with “Ryse: Son of Rome” soldiers and “Dead Rising 3” zombies on the green carpet. Gaming systems were set up in the green room with two of the hottest Xbox One titles, “Forza Motorsport 5” and “Madden 25,” and Xbox One screens introduced each of the presenters on stage. Comedian celebrities signed an Xbox One which was then auctioned off during the show to benefit the foundation.
We haven’t seen the last of these iconic Xbox characters as they are set to converge on Times Square in New York City during our Xbox One launch celebration on Thursday, Nov. 21. See below for some additional photos from the event.
