Full Episodes of Syfy Shows and Sharknado Launch on Xbox One

It’s already been a pretty killer week here at Syfy. As if the world premiere of “Sharknado 2: The Second One” wasn’t big enough, we’re happy to announce that Syfy Now for Xbox One is now available for Xbox Live members in the U.S.

If you’ve already been using Syfy Now on your smartphone or tablet, you’ll feel right at home with the app on Xbox One. The TV Everywhere app is loaded with content from all your favorite Syfy shows, and by using your cable, satellite, or telco subscriber credentials, you can watch full episodes of most shows for free the day after they air. That means you can see episodes of current shows like “Defiance,” “Dominion,” “Face Off” and “The Wil Wheaton Project” whenever you want in full HD on your Xbox One. Also, starting today, you can watch both “Sharknado” and “Sharknado 2: The Second One” in the app for a limited time.

Syfy Now is more than just full episodes and movies, though. We’ve got hundreds of clips available – everything from last week’s “Defiance” panel at San Diego Comic-Con to an inside look at each week’s episode of “Dominion” featuring the show’s creators. Finding content in the app is a breeze whether you’re using the Xbox controller or with Kinect voice and gesture control. You can also expect to see new features and shows in the app later this year.
