Voodoo Vince: Remastered Available April 18 for Xbox Play Anywhere
An original Xbox exclusive, Voodoo Vince debuted in September 2003 and never left our hearts. Developed by Beep Industries, this quirky puzzle-platformer set in the magical underbelly of New Orleans has only ever been playable on the original Xbox. Unfortunately, that means that fans have lost access to an old favorite over the years, and many people have never had a chance to try it at all.
This will all change on April 18, when the wisecracking voodoo doll fondly remembered by a generation of gamers comes back to life, courtesy of a sprinkle of Zombie Dust. Voodoo Vince: Remastered, an HD remake for Xbox One and Windows 10, will be a $14.99 download on the Xbox and Windows Stores. Best of all, it will be an Xbox Play Anywhere title, meaning you’ll be able to buy it once and enjoy it on all of your devices!
Voodoo Vince creator Clayton Kauzlaric will be at PAX East this weekend, where Voodoo Vince: Remastered will be publicly playable for the first time. Stop by the ID@Xbox area to see the game in action and enjoy its blend of classic puzzle platforming gameplay and snarky humor. All of this at 1080p resolution with updated rendering, improved visual effects, and buttery-smooth 60 fps action.
We’ll be bringing you more on Voodoo Vince: Remastered as we get closer to the game’s April 18 release date, so stay tuned to Xbox Wire.
