Darksiders III Will Unleash the Power of Fury’s Whips and Flails, Pre-order Now on Xbox One
The Darksiders franchise has always been a unique take on action adventures. The core pillars are combat, traversal, and puzzles and we try to serve these elements up to players in a new way with each installment in the franchise. We like to think that the combat has been elevated with each sequel, from a focus on very powerful attacks with War’s chaoseater to a slaughter-fest with Death’s arsenal of scythes. Now, a more tactical approach is fueled by Fury’s set of powers.
Darksiders III introduces Fury, the third of the Four Horsemen, a character archetype of a mage so all her weapons and abilities are powered by magic. The key to this magic is in the hilt she holds on her hip which can unleash her powerful whip but also her flails when being fueled by the Flame Hollow in her Flame Form.
The story of Fury is very deeply tied to her personality and we are excited to show more of Fury’s forms and powers in the future.
Action-adventure fans now have an opportunity to commit early to Darksiders III, show us your support, and get a great deal. We recognize that it has been several years since the release of the last Darksiders and really wanted to reward existing fans, in addition to bringing new ones into the fold of the Darksiders universe!

Darksiders III standard edition will give you the armor skin, and the deluxe edition will include two downloadable content packs that we will release after the game ships. We would love to talk specifics here, but we must keep some things secret. One thing’s for certain: we will put all our passion into creating these content pieces.
Finally, the Darksiders III Blades & Whips Edition will include copies of Darksiders Warmastered Edition and Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition that will be available to play when Darksiders III is released on November 27, 2018. This will give players new to the Darksiders series a chance to understand the lore of the franchise and do battle as War and Death. Both titles will support Xbox One X Enhanced features later this year.
