E3 2019: Xbox Game Pass for PC and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Available Today

Since the launch of Xbox Game Pass, we’ve been committed to offering the best value in gaming.  For the last two years, Xbox Game Pass has offered our members on Xbox a curated catalog of over 100 great games, with new games added all the time and day one access to new titles from Xbox Game Studios.  Today, we bring this commitment to PC with the launch of Xbox Game Pass for PC and the new Xbox App.  You can get more details here.

Our members have told us they want to be able to choose a plan that is right for how and where they play.  That is why we offer Xbox Game Pass plans for Console and for PC.  Many of our members also want a simple way to get it all, so we created Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.  Available to everyone today, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes:

Get Your First Month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for just $1

In April, we announced Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, combining Xbox Game Pass for Console and Xbox Live Gold into one convenient membership for the low monthly price of $14.99.  Today, we are adding Xbox Game Pass for PC to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at no additional cost.

New members and existing Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass for Console members can join or upgrade today and get their first month for just $1.  Additionally, if you’re a current Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass member, and have pre-paid months on your account, you’ll get Xbox Game Pass Ultimate credit for those months when you upgrade.

One of the most-anticipated games coming to Xbox and PC this year is Gears 5.  We’re excited to announce Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will also receive access to the Gears 5 Ultimate Edition, the Ultimate Edition Character Pack, 30 Days of Boost and Early Access to the title four days before its worldwide launch.

Join Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) Now

With Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta), members will be able to explore a curated library of over 100 high quality PC games from over 75 content partners.  New games are added all the time and new releases from Xbox Game Studios, including those from developers like Obsidian and inXile, will premiere on Xbox Game Pass for PC. The new way to experience Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) on Windows 10 is with the new Xbox app, available to download now from the Microsoft Store or at Xbox.com.

Just like Xbox Game Pass for Console, Xbox Game Pass for PC will be $9.99 per month.  But to celebrate launch, you can join today for just $1 for the first month and $4.99 per month after that for a limited time.

More Great Games Coming to Xbox Game Pass for Console

We’re not just bringing great new games to PC.  We’re announcing 26 new games for Xbox Game Pass for console, available to play today:

No matter what platform you chose to play on, all Xbox Game Pass members get exclusive discounts, like up to 20% off games and up to 10% off DLC and add-ons for titles in their Xbox Game Pass library. All Xbox Game Pass members will also be invited to participate in the Tech Test of Gears 5 in July and get their first taste of the adventure ahead of its release. State of Decay 2 also announced its biggest expansion yet with Heartland, and it’s free to all Xbox Game Pass members available today.
