Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue Available Now on Xbox One

Today, Square Enix and Disney introduced nine unforgettable adventures to players on Xbox One for the first time. The expansive compilations of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue bring together the previous Kingdom Hearts adventures, paving the way for new players to experience the journey leading up to the release of the critically acclaimed Kingdom Hearts III (available with Xbox Game Pass for Console starting on February 25).

Exclusive to Xbox One, players can earn 197 achievements worth 4,000 Gamerscore in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix and 69 achievements worth 2,000 Gamerscore in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix includes Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (with HD remastered cinematics), Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded (with HD remastered cinematics).

In Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, you’ll control Sora, a brave boy with the ability to use a powerful weapon known as a Keyblade. Along with his friends Donald and Goofy, Sora travels across various Disney worlds, encountering beloved icons like Simba (“The Lion King”), Aladdin (“Aladdin”), and Belle (“Beauty and the Beast”), and battles the Heartless, shadowy creatures born from the darkness in people’s hearts.

This pack also contains the excellent Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. Taking place years before Sora’s adventures, you’ll play as three Keyblade wielders: Terra, Ventus, and Aqua, and shines a light on Kingdom Heart’s main villain, Xehanort. The collection also includes high-definition cinematics from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue includes: Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD, Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage, and the movie “Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover.”

Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD focuses on Sora and his friend Riku as they attempt to improve their skills through an exam known as the Mark of Mastery (spoilers: it doesn’t go according to plan). Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage, was created specifically for this compilation and follows Aqua after the dramatic events of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. Finally, “Kingdom Hearts Back Cover” is a feature length movie that reveals some fascinating secrets about the fabled Keyblade Masters.

Additionally, Keyblade wielders can look forward to continuing their adventures in Kingdom Hearts III with Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind on February 25 for $29.99 on the Microsoft Store. Also, the Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind + Concert Video, which includes Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind as well as footage from the Kingdom Hearts – World of Tres concert recorded in Osaka, Japan on November 30, 2019, will also be available for $39.99 on the Microsoft Store.
