Xbox Insider Release Notes – Xbox App for Windows [2209.1000.46.0]

Hey Xbox Insiders! We have our second September update for the Xbox App preview.

We will continue to post these release notes, even when the noticeable changes are minimal, so you’re aware when updates are coming to the app. Details can be found below!

Xbox Insider Release Notes

App Update Details:

  • Xbox App version released: 2209.1000.46.0
  • Gaming Services version released: 5.68.23001.0
  • Available: 10:00 a.m. PT – August 26th, 2022

Fixes Implemented

This build integrates work that will support some exciting new features coming soon. The team are also preparing improvements and fixing bugs:

  • Fixed a condition when sometimes a preinstall is not queued correctly and can produce a license error.
  • Fixed an issue that can cause an ‘Unsupported 16 bit application’ error. This could occur when multiple sign-ins are active between different apps.
  • Fixed an issue when there is a leftover loading screen displaying a ‘E_PROCESSABORTED’ error.
