See What’s New in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4: Paradise
In Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4: Paradise, a mysterious new substance is taking over the Island. “Chrome” is consuming everything it comes in contact with. Let it be known: your weapons, your structures, and even your friends will succumb to its power – all will be Chrome!
Not Just a Phase
Not a single building material, be it wood, stone, brick, or metal, can stand up to Chrome’s power. Because of this, you can use the new Chrome Splash to make enemy walls phasable. Douse the walls in Chrome and pass right through to surprise your opponent!
Take Shape
Become one with the Chrome. You can use the Chrome Splash to Chrome-ify… yourself! Become pure Chrome for a limited time to be immune to fire damage and – while sprinting – to take on a new shape. While in Blob form, you’ll move faster, be immune to fall damage, and gain the ability air dash. Dash into ANY building piece to make it Chrome, allowing you to phase right through it.
Chrome Home
Chrome’s not only consuming POIs… it’s also made its own. Ascend to the top of the new Herald’s Sanctum – located near the abandoned Sanctuary – to soak in Chrome’s domination progress.
Gain the High Ground
Several Island locations are avoiding the Chrome by fleeing to the air for “safety.” Condo Canyon, now known as the Cloudy Condos, has become a place to attack from above. One way to access this expanding point of interest is by using a D-Launcher, available in different places on the Island to help you gain higher ground.
Evolve Your Weapons
Chome’s introduction has caused the creation of the EvoChrome Shotgun and EvoChrome Assault Rifle, which can be found from the newly formed Chrome Chests. The rarity of these Chromed out weapons will increase as they deal more damage to opponents. Can you take your weapon from Uncommon to Mythic? With Chrome, anything is possible.

Weapons B.C.E. (Before the Chrome Era)
Grab some weapons from yesteryear with some unvaulted weapons and returning Vibin’ weapons. The Prime Shotgun, Suppressed Submachine Gun, Hunter Bolt-Action Sniper, and many more are available now during Chapter 3: Season 4.
The Hunter Bolt-Action Sniper, which debuted in Chapter 3 Season 1: Flipped.
Don’t Forget the Keys
Spend some time scavenging on the Island and there’s a good chance you’ll come across Keys, usable to open Vaults. Low-Security Vaults require one Key to open, while High-Security Vaults require two. Two Keys might be harder to find, but the extra loot is worth the time!
Sudden Bunkerin’
Caught out in the open by an ambush? Deploy potent cover fast with the Port-A-Bunker, the Port-A-Fort’s pint-sized replacement. Throw down the Port-A-Bunker to create an instant 1×1 structure featuring reinforced metal walls, a versatile ramp, doors, and defensive tires to bounce away would-be-invaders – no building required!
