SPEAKER 1: Games in this podcast range from E to M.
MALIK PRINCE: What is going on, everybody? Welcome back to the official Xbox Podcast. It's the only podcast coming to you from inside Xbox. And as you can tell, we are not in the studio. No, we are in Cosm LA, which is this incredible venue showcasing Grounded 2. And we're here because Obsidian is throwing a preview event for the release of the game, which is out today in game preview and early access. My name is Malik Prince. And as you can tell, I'm dressed in some very fancy overalls and glasses, of course. And also in '90s gear, apropos for the game, it's Lina Madrid.
LINA MADRID: Yeah.
MALIK PRINCE: Lina, what you got going on?
LINA MADRID: I got the black choker, of course, a staple. I've got my hip bag and the Tamagotchi, which almost died on me earlier.
MALIK PRINCE: It hasn't stopped beeping since she got here. We're like, Lina, please turn that off. Turn it off. But, Lina, what are we doing here?
LINA MADRID: Well, we're here because Grounded 1, I have such great memories playing that game. Grounded 2 takes everything we know and love and expands on it, making it bigger, making it badder. They add things like buggies, which I know we're excited.
MALIK PRINCE: There are buggies here.
LINA MADRID: Yeah.
MALIK PRINCE: We're going to get to ride real buggies. We got a red ant and an orb weaver spider. Both of those in the game. Both of those after the event. I'm excited. We're going to feel like we're actually in the park, Lina.
LINA MADRID: Yeah. And then we get to play the game. I'm going to go play the game with a couple of devs. And then you get to sit down with Marcus and Chris to get all the details.
MALIK PRINCE: That's right. We talked to them just after the announcement. And now on the release date, we're going to get to talk to them again to see how they're feeling and what you can expect when you jump into the game. So this is going to be a cool event, Lina.
LINA MADRID: Honestly. You know what? Enough talking. I'm going to go play that game.
MALIK PRINCE: Me too?
LINA MADRID: Sorry. There's just one spot for me. So --
MALIK PRINCE: Well. Well, that just leaves me with one thing to do. Welcome to Brook Hollow Park and welcome to the Grounded 2 experience. [ Music ] All right, everyone. A very special moment right now. We are here with the Executive Producer, Marcus Morgan, and Game Director, Chris Parker. Gentlemen, good to see you again.
CHRIS PARKER: Hey!
MARCUS MORGAN: Good to see you, too.
CHRIS PARKER: Good to see you.
MALIK PRINCE: All right. So a month ago, we were on the Xbox Podcast and, a little fourth world breaking for everyone out there, we filmed it before the actual announcement. And so a lot of us, we were like, oh, is it going to leak? What's going to happen? And you all were able to keep the secret. And now, a month on, we are just a few days away. We're filming this a few days before the actual game comes out. But for all of you watching, the game is out actually today in early access game preview. But how is the team feeling now that not only is the announcement over, but now the game is out?
CHRIS PARKER: Yeah, I mean, the team is super excited. The response to the announcement was amazing. The community was super, super pumped. The team, we thrive off that at both Obsidian and at Eidos-Montréal. The response has just been amazing. Super excited to get this game into the hands of our players out there.
MARCUS MORGAN: Yeah, we always had a vision for how we announced the game of it being this surprise and then this surprise and then deliver right away. And it's so hard to keep a secret in games nowadays. And so the fact that we were actually able to keep it under wraps, the fact that no one knew it was coming, it made the impact of the announcement feel that much better. So that, I think, to me, is like one of the greatest parts is being able to have kept that secret.
MALIK PRINCE: I totally get that. One, shout out to you all for keeping that secret because it does not happen that much these days. But I will say you're right, keeping the secret and also seeing it revealed for the first time gives that impact. One of my favorite things to do after a showcase is go back and watch reactions. Obviously, knowing it's going to be in the show, you wait for that reaction of the community. And of course, you all are so community oriented. So I'm sure it's been so great to see their feedback and excitement for the game. Obviously, from the announce to now, there's not much time. But have you taken some of the feedback that some of the folks who have seen the reveal? Have you been putting that into the game? Where are we with that?
MARCUS MORGAN: (laughter) That's a quick turnaround.
MALIK PRINCE: Yeah.
CHRIS PARKER: But to be clear, we have been scouring what the community is saying about everything. And in a lot of cases, it's been like, you know what? When they play this, they'll see how this works. Or you know what? When they see this, they'll see how this works. And so there have been other things where we're like, okay, well, I guess we'll see how that one plays out. It's a little bit of just trying to see what's out there and listen to what they have to say. But nothing has been set in stone yet. Until we have it in players' hands, there's really not much point in us jumping on anything.
MARCUS MORGAN: Yeah, I think the biggest piece that we are trying to do in this kind of short window that we have is really to clarify some things and go out and talk to the community and speak to folks like yourself just to explain, well, what are our plans? How are we adapting in the future? So not so much as like what drastic turns are we making in a month's time, but more so of how are we setting the stage for the future? And more importantly, how are we setting the stage for how we have those conversations with the community when there is feedback? And that's where kind of all this stuff plays out.
MALIK PRINCE: Yeah, I love it. So you're telling me that games don't get changed in a month.
MARCUS MORGAN: You can actually -- you'd be surprised. You could change a lot of stuff. But no, with so much going on and all the things that we have, we really are focused on making sure the game is stable and it runs well. So, no, no drastic changes. But to be honest with you, most of the feedback that we saw with the community was curiosity. And Chris kind of said, well, how is the Omni-Tool going to work? And what does that mean in terms of progression and inventory management and all those sort of things? So it wasn't as much of, oh, I don't like that we did X, or I really love that you did Y. Give me more of it. So that's more of what it was, was curiosity. And so that's what we're really excited about in the next few days of seeing people dig in. And when I say excited, I also mean anxiously excited.
MALIK PRINCE: Yeah, of course.
MARCUS MORGAN: Because then that's when the floodgates will really start to open. And then we'll be accountable to addressing the community feedback and continuing to build the game.
MALIK PRINCE: Yeah, I love that. I mean, it is literally your babies. It's your baby at this point. And so excited to see how the world receives it. And so let's talk about the game, actually. For those who have played Grounded 1 and are coming over to Grounded 2, or even the folks who are playing Grounded 2 as their first intro into the game, what can they expect? And what are you all most excited to see them jump into?
CHRIS PARKER: Hmm. I mean, there's a lot there. So I think one of the things we're really excited about with the early access game preview version that's coming out is that we have a lot more story than we had the first time around. And I think that that will appeal to both Grounded 1 players that are returning and brand new players because it really helps build the world and set the stage and create some characters and some background for the survival experience that they're going to have in the game. And so I think that that's really exciting. I think it's really cool. At the same time, I think we've done a lot of work with the Omni-Tool, for example, and other things to try and make the game a little bit more friendly, make inventory management simpler, and just make the overall experience really fun and really great. And hopefully, fingers crossed, whether you're playing single player or co-op, you just have a really great, seamless experience running into it for the first time.
MARCUS MORGAN: I know we talked about this a lot the last time, and I'll probably sound like a broken record, but it's got to be buggies.
MALIK PRINCE: Yeah.
MARCUS MORGAN: I mean, that is what the community wanted. It really changes every aspect of the game when you're playing it. And so I think seeing the community really get their hands on buggies, seeing it at scale, seeing them play with their friends, seeing them play solo, that's what I'm most excited to see them kind of go and experience. And then also, again, that anxious excitement about what and how will buggies evolve over time with each update and with that feedback and once the community gets their hands on it. So buggies has got to be it for me. I know it's the easy answer, but that is the answer.
MALIK PRINCE: No, it's two really good answers. It's like, hey, here are the improvements over the first game. And then here are the additions that making a Grounded 2 allowed us to put into the game. And we're at this event here. And a lot of creators are getting to play the game for the first time ever, getting to jump in. But there's also experiences like where they can ride a buggy in real life. I actually got to get on one, and it is really cool. And you almost feel like you're in the world of Grounded, which is a great little thing for the folks who are at this event. But for players jumping in, I think knowing that the folks who have played the game are going to see those improvements. And for people who are jumping in, they're also going to experience new moments. It's so cool that you all are being able to bring that to the players. Now let's talk a little bit about archetypes. Last time we talked about them, kind of went through them. Has your favorite changed a little bit? I know, it was you, Marcus, the Rangers that you're --
MARCUS MORGAN: No, it was the Rogue --
MALIK PRINCE: Oh, got you.
MARCUS MORGAN: -- because of the dual wielding, because of the backstabs that you can do. But yeah, I think Chris talks a lot about he likes every archetype. I think you also kind of like the Rogue. The Rogue just has some of the newer things. So I think that's what gets us excited about the Rogue. But I'll say, what's funny is every time we actually play the game together, for whatever reason, I actually never end up playing the Rogue. That's more of my solo play. I always do get the ranger. And the ranger, I'll be honest, it starts off, it's like one of those ones where it's an easy-to-enter, difficult-to-master kind of archetype, where it really starts to show itself when you get later into the game, when you start getting a variety of the different types of arrow types. And then you're thinking, okay, I'm going to use the spicy arrow in this moment. And I'm going to use a venom arrow in that moment. And that's where a Ranger kind of is fun. And you're there as almost like a support to the rest of your crew, especially if you're playing with friends. So that one has kind of grown on me, but all of them are fun. I don't know. What else do you got?
CHRIS PARKER: All of them are great. I mean, the Rogue is a lot of fun, especially for me in single player, if I am playing by myself, because just trying to sneak attack insects is awesome. It's fun. I love dual wielding, so I love the Rogue. But I'm super happy being the sword and board fighter or two-handed fighter, just running around, being up there, tanking the insects, hitting them hard. And then what you'll see in Grounded 2 is that it takes a little while to get to the Mage archetype because it's sort of a tier two is where you can actually start that. So right at the start of the game, you can't get a Mage staff or Mage equipment, but you can after you've been playing for a few hours. And so that one, I think, is really interesting because you kind of evolve your way into it after you've been playing a little while. And if you get towards the end game of what we have for early access, I find that to be one of the most fun because you've just got the staff, and you're just hurling and lobbing crazy magic at insects and stuff. And it becomes a lot of fun.
MARCUS MORGAN: There's a part of the Mage archetype, too. These are silly small details, but this is the charm of Grounded that I love, where just the basic VFX. So in Grounded, you're not casting fireballs. You're not shooting ice spells. You're shooting spicy molten lava that's candy. You're shooting minty, fresh mints. And so the team did a great job with just the subtle VFX of that, of it becomes a mint burst, or it becomes this kind of molten kind of spicy candy. That's what makes Grounded more special is it is not just kind of the expected. It's what the kind of goofy kid fantasy version of it.
CHRIS PARKER: It's that sort of quirky ridiculousness, right?
MARCUS MORGAN: Exactly.
CHRIS PARKER: Which is awesome.
MALIK PRINCE: Yeah, I mean, this is what I love so much, just watching you all light up as you talk about how you play the game and maybe differences in how you play the game. And I think that's what makes an Obsidian game. We've talked about it so much. Playing the way you want, making whether it's one archetype versus another or how you tackle a certain situation in the game, I think that's what people love so much. But you all both kind of touched on something I want to dial into a little bit, which is your play in solo versus with a squad. And so for people like me who have no friends --
MARCUS MORGAN: That's not true. We're going to play together, remember?
CHRIS PARKER: That's right.
MALIK PRINCE: Yeah, we're going to play together. But there may be people who are watching who may want to play solo, or they have a squad that they're ready to jump into. What are some of the differences in the gameplay and the scenarios that they're going to run into, depending on how they play and who they play with?
CHRIS PARKER: Yeah, I mean, the game works great, whether you're a single player or playing co-op. We always say single-player is great, but Grounded is better with friends, right? And so that's true because you just can't beat goofing around with your pals when you're playing co-op. The differences, though, that you're going to see, I think, is that when you're in co-op it is so easy for a bunch of players to just go and chop down all of the grass and all of the weeds and all of the stuff and collect a bunch of resources and build up a base really quick and do whatever. And it goes a little bit slower in single player when you've got to do it by yourself. And then the insects have more hit points and do more damage and are harder when you have more people in the game. And so it just kind of changes the entire dynamic of the game where, number one, you can do certain things a lot faster, like building up stuff. But then those fights can be very, very difficult and very chaotic, and a lot more of I have to save my friend, I have to save my buggy, we need to try and make sure that we are all cooperatively working together to take something out. Whereas in single player, it's much more like, okay, it's that kind of insect. I'm going to use this kind of weapon. I need to make sure I got some health potions. Let's go take this thing out. In multiplayer, you've got to be a little bit more coordinated, which makes it a lot of fun.
MARCUS MORGAN: That's exactly what I was going to say. We were playing just a few days ago. And one of the things that Miles, one of the producers on the team, had kind of mentioned was just the more chaotic the game gets, the more fun. And I think that chaos scale happens with regards to how many people you have playing. And now that we've introduced buggies, it adds four more creatures that can cause more chaos. Because, oh no, my buggy went and aggroed another Bombardier Beetle. Now there's Bombardier Beetles in this fight that I didn't want. And so I do think, though, to speak to that, I think what's really awesome about buggies -- Because I'm going to talk about buggies. I want to.
MALIK PRINCE: Why not? Why wouldn't you?
MARCUS MORGAN: -- is that when you are playing in single player, you're never actually really alone anymore. And I think that really, really helps. So one of the reasons that I think we like playing as a Rogue is when you have a buggy, you can jump off and fight alongside your buggy. And so my buggy can kind of aggro some of the incoming attacks, and I can sneak behind. And I can still do that in single player, even without being in co-op, because I have that buggy. So it does blend that experience together of feeling like you have more of a co-op kind of experience, even if you're playing alone.
CHRIS PARKER: Buggy, you stay here. I'm going to go sneak attack that thing.
MARCUS MORGAN: Exactly.
CHRIS PARKER: I'm going to sneak attack it, totally screw it up, get attacked by a bunch of stuff, whistle for my buggy, come on, help me out with this. And it plays out pretty well.
MALIK PRINCE: Yeah, I mean, I love that. I think when we think about some of the most iconic, traditionally single-player games, a lot of them have a companion, so to speak. And in a way, I feel like the buggy is somewhat of a companion in that you can kind of use it to, as you mentioned, distract some of the other bugs and go on and do what you got to do. And I'm sure folks are going to have a connection. We talked in the last episode about certain connections you may have with your buggies, treating them better than others. We won't get into that anymore. But again, so many people are going to be excited to play. Whether it's solo or together, it's great to hear that they're going to have a great time jumping in. Any tips for new players jumping in, or any last final thoughts that you want to give to players out there who are getting ready to jump in?
CHRIS PARKER: Well, I mean, one thing that I would say is don't be afraid to engage with the community. The Grounded community is awesome. It is very supportive. It is very warm. We want the community to come join us, right? Be part of this. Come play the game. The reason why we're going into game previews/early access is to get that feedback, to see what people think about the game, to help us develop the features and fine-tune how things work, and give us ideas that maybe we never had before. And I think that's super, super important. In terms of the best ways to reach us, we're all over everywhere. We have community people that are checking out things on basically every social platform.
MARCUS MORGAN: And we're reading every comment that you might post on (inaudible). Yeah, every one. We read every one.
CHRIS PARKER: They all get compiled into these huge documents that we go through. But the main place to go is on Discord.
MARCUS MORGAN: Groundedthegame on Discord. And that's probably the best way, where if you want to give feedback, you want to engage with the community, all that stuff. I would say one for new players. If you're a new player, don't hold on to an ego around how tough you need to make it. If you need some time to ramp up, feel free to play on the easiest mode. The point is to have fun and enjoy your time playing the game. And we want you to kind of enjoy that. And I would say that's the last piece to all this is you kind of see when you talk to us about it, we get really excited thinking about Grounded, talking about Grounded. And I think a lot of the community feels similarly how we do. And I just hope people have fun. I hope people play together. I hope people engage. To me, Grounded represents so much of the spirit of gaming, of coming together, and just having fun with your friends. Maybe there's a little bit of terror in there. Maybe there's a little bit of anxiety because your buggy is down, and everybody's buggy is down, and there's one person left. But the point is to have a good time. The point is to have fun. The point is to let your imagination run wild. And I think it's so cool in terms of how Grounded encapsulates all that because the community's imaginations, they energize our imaginations. And you share ideas, and then we kind of build this thing together. And so I hope you all have a great time. Find any way you can to have fun with the game. That's really my best advice.
MALIK PRINCE: I love it. Have fun. And I know you feel so inclined to give that feedback and be a part of the Grounded 2 development in this early access game preview release. You know where to find them, at groundedthegame. Chris and Marcus, one, thank you for joining me. But two, congrats on a very exciting time for both you and Eidos-Montréal and launching this game. It's so incredible. And so give the best to the team for me.
MARCUS MORGAN: Absolutely.
CHRIS PARKER: Thank you so much.
MALIK PRINCE: Appreciate it.
LINA MADRID: All right. Aarik, Shyla, are you ready for adventure?
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Of course.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Yeah, I'm super ready.
LINA MADRID: It looks a little dirty in here, a little dilapidated. Okay?
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: I got to punch you clean. Hold on.
LINA MADRID: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Thank you. Thank you. Wow.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Thank goodness we're in mild mode.
LINA MADRID: The gentle touch is perfect. Okay.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yes.
LINA MADRID: Yeah, let's go.
WILLOW: We're still in the park.
LINA MADRID: Okay. Okay. All right.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, man. Look at the chunky guy.
LINA MADRID: Cute? Did I just hear you say cute?
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yeah, look at him.
LINA MADRID: I don't want to look. Like, it is gorgeous out there. And then who put the giant cockroach there? And also, why?
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: I don't know. Do you think they streamed?
LINA MADRID: Were they shooting a podcast episode here? Is this why the camera is set up?
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: I think so.
LINA MADRID: Oh, that's cool.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, yeah.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: All right. Let's go.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Kill BB-11. I think that's a news channel.
LINA MADRID: They've been spying. Yeah, they're spying, but --
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, yeah. It looks like there's cameras everywhere in the park.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Everywhere. [ Laughter ]
AARIK DOROBIALA: Okay. All right. Let's jump through these hoops.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Get it, hoops?
LINA MADRID: Yay.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Let me in.
LINA MADRID: Hey. How come he goes first?
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: He jumped in first.
LINA MADRID: Oh, my friends are leaving me.
AARIK DOROBIALA: I jumped down.
LINA MADRID: All right. Here we go.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: We should have her do it.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Yeah, we're going to let you do the honors.
LINA MADRID: Oh, thank you. Thank you very much.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Help us with our SCA.B 2Ks.
LINA MADRID: SCA.B 2K advanced.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Yeah.
LINA MADRID: Oh, okay. All right. Oh, Sloane. She looks like a nice lady. I would trust her with my life, 100%.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Do we have worker permits? Because we're kind of young to be working for a corporation.
LINA MADRID: (laughter) Yeah. What are the child labor laws? Oh, okay.
WILLOW: I love to get micro-stabbed by a corporate armband.
LINA MADRID: Oh, I like that. How cool. Okay, let's use it locked. Ho-ya!
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: We did it. Yes.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh. It's much faster.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: I got that VIP access.
AARIK DOROBIALA: From Tully's backyard.
LINA MADRID: Yeah.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Oh, this is --
LINA MADRID: They need to clean up in here. We need to sweep up.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yeah.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Yeah. It's pretty messy. I'm not going to lie.
LINA MADRID: Look at that power suit that she is wearing. Those shoulder pads.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: I know, right?
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, yeah.
LINA MADRID: Yeah. Clearly, someone with good moral values would wear something like that. So, trusting.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Oh, I like this guy.
LINA MADRID: Oh, he's seen some things, for sure. (laughter)
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, yeah. Looks like he's no longer at the company as of this year.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Oh. He got a vacation.
LINA MADRID: Yeah, exactly. Yeah, yeah.
AARIK DOROBIALA: He went down south, yeah.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Ooh, some shoes, please.
SLOANE BEAUMONT: Inside the training dome, you'll learn a crucial survival skill.
LINA MADRID: Oh, this is my favorite part, looting. Just picking up all the things.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, yeah.
LINA MADRID: I love it. I love it.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: I was going to say, I know this highlight.
LINA MADRID: Yeah. All of these crafting brainpower unlocks. Oh, I'm excited. I'm excited for outfits. That is going to be so fun. We've got a bunch of new armor, right?
AARIK DOROBIALA: Do you want to do the honors of analyzing all these handy materials?
LINA MADRID: Let's do it. I've got the pebble, pebblet. I've got to say, my favorite part of Grounded 1 and now Grounded 2 is when they say, Ross, this is the science. So, yeah, it is. I repeat it every single time. Ross, this is the science. I mean, I almost sound like him. Honestly, I can't tell the difference.
AARIK DOROBIALA: I thought I was in the room with the actual voice.
LINA MADRID: Right, right. All right, plant fiber, plant fiber. All right, let's craft this up and craft this up. Oh. There we go. I got it.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: I got my fist.
LINA MADRID: Hi-yah, hi-yah. Oops, sorry, sorry, sorry. I was --
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: It's all good.
SLOANE BEAUMONT: When you're ready, press the button.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh.
LINA MADRID: Oh.
AARIK DOROBIALA: You know, usually they tell you not to press the button, but this is awesome.
LINA MADRID: But it's giant. Oh, here we go. Hi-yah. Hi-yah. Got it. And then, of course, we have to loot. Cook these up later. Delicious.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: We were off the charts, you all.
LINA MADRID: Yeah. We were so good.
AARIK DOROBIALA: We're so good. There is no number to determine our greatness.
LINA MADRID: Yeah. Ring, ring.
AARIK DOROBIALA: We got a phone call to answer.
LINA MADRID: BURG.L!
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: BURG.L? Oh.
LINA MADRID: He's seen better days, that's for sure.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Oh.
SPEAKER 2: You don't get a phone call.
BURG.L: She's crazy! Traumatic experience for BURG.L.
LINA MADRID: Yeah, get him.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Hey, BURG.
BURG.L: I'll need to assist in getting you out of this mess. You, go, leave!
LINA MADRID: Uh-oh.
WILLOW: Wow. BURG.L sounded messed up. And who was that talking to him?
LINA MADRID: Yeah, who's the she that BURG.L referred to? We don't know. We do know one thing. It's definitely not Sloane, because Sloane is too nice to do anything.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yeah.
LINA MADRID: Whoa.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Ceremony pamphlet.
LINA MADRID: Oh, my God. Look at this slug.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, yeah, you found a snail.
LINA MADRID: A snail! A snail!
AARIK DOROBIALA: You scared him. You scared the little snail.
LINA MADRID: Oh, no. Are you stabbing the -- (laughter)
AARIK DOROBIALA: It's protected. Look. It's so strong.
LINA MADRID: You're right. It's not even bothering it. Hey, guy. Hello. Hello.
SPEAKER 3: Why would a snail ever do such a thing?
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Okay, let's go this way.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, yeah.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: We got a star to go to.
LINA MADRID: Yes. Objectives, of course. We can't get distracted. All right? Let's go.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: No. Goodbye.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, my goodness, Shyla. Why?
LINA MADRID: Oh, no. Oh, no. What did you -- Did you anger the Ladybug? Aarik, no. Be careful.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Shyla started it. I'm stunned. Oh, I'm in trouble.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Aarik, run.
LINA MADRID: Okay, I did a little stab.
AARIK DOROBIALA: No, we can do this.
LINA MADRID: Okay. Aarik spotted them.
AARIK DOROBIALA: I believe --
LINA MADRID: Bye.
AARIK DOROBIALA: -- we got this.
LINA MADRID: You got it? Really? Ah!
AARIK DOROBIALA: We've only done a small amount of health damage.
LINA MADRID: One hit, and I'm already half dead. Oh. It's looking at me. Okay, there we go.
AARIK DOROBIALA: With our powers combined, we got this.
LINA MADRID: Uh-oh.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, she's -- The Ladybug is blocking.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: I mean, we're pros.
AARIK DOROBIALA: She's blocking.
LINA MADRID: Yeah, you're right. Hi-yah. Oh, we got it half down. All right. We got this. We got this.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, no, we are slaying.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Oh, fun. We're actually doing it.
AARIK DOROBIALA: I don't know if there's a professional tournament link for Grounded 2, but we would win.
LINA MADRID: We are pros. Look at that.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Ooh, a dead aphid.
LINA MADRID: Did we get any -- Oh, we got swag from it. No, we didn't. Who picked up the loot? Who picked up the loot?
AARIK DOROBIALA: I did. I'm sorry. I'm very quick at looting. I apologize.
LINA MADRID: Aarik, we need to know our roles in this group, okay? I'm the one who picks up all the loot and treasure, okay?
AARIK DOROBIALA: All right.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: You know what? You may think that, but I'm not abiding. [ Laughter ]
LINA MADRID: Uh-oh, Shyla. Uh-oh. (laughter)
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: That's the beauty about this game, though, because it all goes to the same pool. So it --
AARIK DOROBIALA: Yeah, go ahead. Check out the new Ominent tools.
LINA MADRID: Oh. Omni-Tool.
WILLOW: Something is buzzing in the other room.
LINA MADRID: Oh, yes. Okay.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Another phone call.
LINA MADRID: Okay, let's see if we can get there.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Oh, we have another objective marker out here.
LINA MADRID: Oh, nice. Okay, let's go.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Going to analyze while we got the charges.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Okay, and I've -- Let's see. We pick up some sap and maybe make a torch or something in case it takes us --
LINA MADRID: To the dark dark?
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yeah, because it was pretty dark behind those glass windows in there.
LINA MADRID: It's true.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Yeah, I see some sap over here. I'll grab it.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Cool.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Boop.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: And I love this. With the Omni-Tool, you just walk up, and it's like, press X to chop. Yes, please.
LINA MADRID: It's so nice. It's so nice. It makes it real seamless to start harvesting and collecting all the resources you need. Then I have more time to go out and adventure, build things. Love it.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Yeah, and it also doesn't take up inventory slots, so you got more rooms to loot.
LINA MADRID: Exactly. I need more room for pebblets. That's what I need, so -- (laughter)
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, looks like we found an ex-employee.
LINA MADRID: Oh! I think he's just napping. Wait, let me rummage. Okay.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Do it.
LINA MADRID: Yeah, take all.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Ooh, rotten food.
LINA MADRID: Ooh, rotten food.
AARIK DOROBIALA: That sounds delicious.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Mites!
LINA MADRID: Ooh, the mites! Uh-oh, Shyla, be careful.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: They're mighty annoying. [ Laughter ] Yeah.
LINA MADRID: Okay, we need to craft a torch before we go in.
AARIK DOROBIALA: I got you.
LINA MADRID: You got it?
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Oh, perfect.
LINA MADRID: Look at that. I like being carried in games. This is perfect. Thank you, Aarik.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Teamwork.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yeah.
LINA MADRID: Oh, the raw science!
SPEAKER 4: Raw science!
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Oh, no. We got a lot of mites.
LINA MADRID: Okay, I think we got them. We got them. There's more?
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yeah.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Looks like we can't go this way.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Oh, and we're back to the cable.
LINA MADRID: Ha! Got him. Anymore? Are we good? We're clear? All right.
AARIK DOROBIALA: I think we're gravy.
LINA MADRID: All right.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Go ahead and answer.
SLOANE BEAUMONT: Oh, my God!
LINA MADRID: Sloane!
SLOANE BEAUMONT: Oh, yes. Oh, I was so worried. Not killing teenagers, it's my whole thing.
AARIK DOROBIALA: That's good.
LINA MADRID: That's good to live by. Yeah, yeah. [ Laughter ]
SLOANE BEAUMONT: Ah, that's so good to hear.
LINA MADRID: Oh, my. I'm talking to Sloane. Who's been --
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Sorry.
LINA MADRID: What's going on back there?
SLOANE BEAUMONT: Oh, my gosh. Okay, this is embarrassing, but you might recognize me from the commercials.
HOOPS: Hmm. Let's see.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: We did. She's famous.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oops, sorry.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Who said that?
AARIK DOROBIALA: That's the shout I did.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: I mean, I'm just aiming for the eyeball.
SLOANE BEAUMONT: -- disappeared at the same time as Dr. Tully.
LINA MADRID: Oh! Seeing the spears just fly past my head at Sloane is just -- (laughter).
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Lady, you don't know what we've been through.
LINA MADRID: She doesn't.
AARIK DOROBIALA: This ain't our first rodeo.
LINA MADRID: We're the teens.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yeah. This ain't our first miniaturization.
SLOANE BEAUMONT: My team will get right on it.
LINA MADRID: Oh, look at that. She's so helpful and kind.
SLOANE BEAUMONT: I'll unlock the Ranger Station terminal next to you. You know, you never know what you might run into out there.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Ooh, another ranger station. And upgrades. Yes.
WILLOW: Sweet.
SLOANE BEAUMONT: You can call me any time you need my help.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: I won't need it. Bye. We're pro gamers. We don't need help. Quick question. Before we go into that menu --
AARIK DOROBIALA: Yes.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Quick question for you, Aarik.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Yes.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: I realized we started playing this, and I don't even know what you do here. You may be an impostor. What do you do at Obsidian?
AARIK DOROBIALA: Put the spear down, Shyla. I work here. I have credentials.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Credentials?
AARIK DOROBIALA: But, yeah, I am the Senior Community Manager here at Obsidian Entertainment.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: What does that mean?
AARIK DOROBIALA: What does a senior community manager do?
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yeah.
AARIK DOROBIALA: It means a lot of things. But I help talk to the players, engage with them, collect their data. And when I say data, I mean feedback and suggestions and relay that information to the developers. Sorry, I'm feeling it, too.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yeah.
AARIK DOROBIALA: I feel like I'm part of Ominent now, since Sloane is our new boss. And then I help with dev streams. And all around cool guy at the office. And I work with content creators.
LINA MADRID: Love that.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Cool guy at the office. I love that. Does that mean if you were to go into this Ranger Station and we would have suggestions for that, they could give you suggestions?
AARIK DOROBIALA: Yeah, absolutely. But the best way to give suggestions is to join our official Discord server at discord.gg/groundedthegame.
LINA MADRID: There we go.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Enough of that shameless plug. I'm sorry. Thank you all for coming on.
AARIK DOROBIALA: What about you, Shyla? If I get an intro, you get an intro.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Perfect. I'm Shyla. I'm the Comms Manager here, Communications. And I help with making sure that we are communicating to people properly. And it is the best. That's it. I'll keep it short and sweet because I don't think we have much time to play. And I really want to get out there and do some stuff. So what are we doing in here?
AARIK DOROBIALA: So we need to upgrade our Omni-Tool to unlock the hammer. So we have enough raw science and resources.
LINA MADRID: We have it all.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Go ahead and do that.
LINA MADRID: Let's upgrade.
AARIK DOROBIALA: And if there's anything else we can upgrade, go for it.
LINA MADRID: Look at all this. I think we're --
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Ooh, it looks like a -- There you go.
LINA MADRID: Yeah.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: A shovel upgrade. Yes.
LINA MADRID: We got the shovel -- Okay.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, probably.
LINA MADRID: Oh, we need grass seeds and more raw science for that shovel upgrade.
AARIK DOROBIALA: All right. Okay. Got you. So the best way to get raw science is either we find it in the world or we can complete quests. So let's see. I'm going to go ahead. Ranger challenges. So if we craft clover armor, we can get some raw science. Also, if we build a lean-to, then there's a whole bunch more that will unlock.
LINA MADRID: Perfect. Oh, yeah. I see it in our menu too. The ranger challenges. Okay.
AARIK DOROBIALA: I'm going to find --
LINA MADRID: So let's go build. Make ourselves a little home.
AARIK DOROBIALA: We'll find some grass seeds. This one has got big old flowers, looks like. So I'm going to chop this down.
LINA MADRID: Nice. Look at that. Just go up and chop. So nice. Chop, chop, chop.
AARIK DOROBIALA: There we go. I got some seeds.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Ooh, grass seed.
LINA MADRID: Nice. We got the grass seeds. We need more raw science next, right? So let's do some clover harvesting.
AARIK DOROBIALA: We're going to harvest five clovers.
LINA MADRID: Yes. And we can make some new clothes too, some armor.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yes. So I know the game came out today when they're watching it. We're still playing a little bit before, but everybody gets to play today. But what does early access mean?
AARIK DOROBIALA: Well, I think most people are familiar with what early access is. But for those who don't, it's releasing a game while it's still under development. So the game isn't 100% complete yet. We're building the game early to get a lot of feedback from our players and the community and really work together in making the game they want to make together as a giant team.
LINA MADRID: We got little baby spiders out and about in this area.
AARIK DOROBIALA: They're just little guys.
LINA MADRID: It's the name that makes it special.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Oh, I already pissed someone off.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, let's go.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Oh, you shouldn't do that.
LINA MADRID: Oh, it is angry. It is very angry. I'm stabbing the air. Currently not doing any damage. There we go.
AARIK DOROBIALA: So now, if you notice, the red ant is blocking. So you need to do a power attack to break the block.
LINA MADRID: Okay, let me do a power attack. Hi-yah! Yes.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Nice.
LINA MADRID: Okay, so basically these bugs are getting more intelligent, and that scares me. They're blocking my attacks now. Okay. All right.
AARIK DOROBIALA: All right, here we go. Got to follow the lights.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yeah. Oh, no.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Ooh, good parry. That was a good one.
LINA MADRID: You just parried it?
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Oh, that was a parry. You're right. I did it.
LINA MADRID: Oh, it's the Ominate lights.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Oh, so it's safe, is what you're saying.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, water cooler. You guys thirsty?
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yes, I am.
AARIK DOROBIALA: All right, let's go back to the cables.
LINA MADRID: Now the other way. [ Laughter ]
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: I like that Aarik is like, let's just keep moving. And you and I both snapped.
LINA MADRID: I know. We were like, no, we're not letting anyone go.
AARIK DOROBIALA: It's hard with one Shyla. But now there's two people with the same play style.
LINA MADRID: (laughter) Yep.
AARIK DOROBIALA: All right, let's follow. Oh, we got new lights now. Follow the lights.
LINA MADRID: Yay.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: The red wires. Let's go.
AARIK DOROBIALA: So these are normal eggs.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Ooh.
LINA MADRID: So we don't want these eggs. Okay.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: I want this egg.
EMPLOYEE ID 426: -- figured out the hatchery design but won't share it with us.
AARIK DOROBIALA: I'll take this egg anyways.
EMPLOYEE ID 426: -- without a Red Soldier Ant Egg.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Wow.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh.
LINA MADRID: Okay. Red Soldier Ant Eggs. Where is your egg? Tell us.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: You know what? With the price of eggs nowadays, I can see why they're hiding it from us.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Yeah.
LINA MADRID: So true. In this economy. Come on.
AARIK DOROBIALA: There they are. Look, we found it. Oh, there's someone guarding it.
LINA MADRID: Oh, my inventory is full. No.
AARIK DOROBIALA: All right. Once we take care of this guy, we got it.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Okay, everybody, grab an egg.
LINA MADRID: Okay, I'm ready. I got one. (laughter)
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Okay, let's go.
LINA MADRID: Okay.
AARIK DOROBIALA: My torch is going to run out, though. So hopefully we make it. Oh!
LINA MADRID: Oh, no! It made me drop all of my -- Okay.
AARIK DOROBIALA: All right, wait. We're going to have to deal with this.
LINA MADRID: I was going to let it live. But now. There we go.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Okay, everybody, grab an egg again.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Egg.
LINA MADRID: Yep, got an egg.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Onwards.
LINA MADRID: Look at this teamwork.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: See, it's unlike earlier when I said we were going to survive separately. But right now we're surviving together. And it's great. This is the way.
LINA MADRID: You can play solo or together with friends.
AARIK DOROBIALA: As soon as we ride together, we'll survive together.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yes.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, you hit me.
LINA MADRID: Oh, gosh. I'm tired.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Behind you. Behind you.
LINA MADRID: Oh, no. He's blocking. He's blocking.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, this one has a donut. It's a peace offering.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Did you say a peace offering?
AARIK DOROBIALA: Yeah. I did. [ Laughter ] Hey, look at that. Look at that. Oh, my torch went out.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Uh-oh.
LINA MADRID: There's scary, red eyes everywhere.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Okay. Let's run. This way.
LINA MADRID: We got to get out of here. This is not good.
AARIK DOROBIALA: We're going upwards. We're almost clear.
LINA MADRID: Can't see anything. Oh!
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, there's a big one.
LINA MADRID: Oh, I jumped over it.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Get him.
AARIK DOROBIALA: We got this. We got this.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: We're almost there. We're almost out.
AARIK DOROBIALA: All three of us. Yes.
LINA MADRID: Oh, yes. Okay.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yay!
AARIK DOROBIALA: Different entrance.
LINA MADRID: Oh, okay.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Okay, let's go to the base.
LINA MADRID: All right. Shyla, you're not looking too good. I'm concerned about your health right now.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: It's fine. This egg is going to get me through.
LINA MADRID: We're almost home.
AARIK DOROBIALA: We made it. I'll take the back one here and just plop it here.
LINA MADRID: Okay, incubate.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yay, we did it.
LINA MADRID: They're so sweet.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Nap time.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Yeah, let's go ahead and just rest it up.
LINA MADRID: All right. I can't wait to see our newborn bugs. (laughter)
AARIK DOROBIALA: All right, let's see how much time we got left.
LINA MADRID: One?
AARIK DOROBIALA: I can't wait.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: I can't wait to see what (inaudible).
AARIK DOROBIALA: I can't wait.
LINA MADRID: Oh, it's doing it? Little bell. Oh. Ready to hatch. Oh, my gosh. Retrieve. Yay.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Yay!
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Beautiful.
LINA MADRID: Oh, it's so cute. I can pet it.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, little guy. Hey.
LINA MADRID: Yeah. That is so --
AARIK DOROBIALA: Go ahead. Try it. Try it out. Yeah.
LINA MADRID: Whew!
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: And we never saw her again.
LINA MADRID: Nope. I'm drifting away. (laughter) Oh, my gosh. Engine is ready, Aarik. Go grab it.
AARIK DOROBIALA: All right. Yeah.
LINA MADRID: Oh, that is so. Oh, what is it?
SPEAKER 5: Your SCA.B 2K was so easy to hack into. I can use it as a PA system. See you finally hitched a ride. Congratulations, you got my attention. Don't think I'll let you get comfortable out there.
WILLOW: Not a fan of whatever this is.
LINA MADRID: Yeah.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Right?
LINA MADRID: What? Someone just hacked the system. Oh, I can crunch now.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Yeah, let's start. Look at that.
LINA MADRID: Oh.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yeah.
AARIK DOROBIALA: We can make a proper base now.
LINA MADRID: This is incredible. And you can carry things while on your buggy. That's so cool. Nab it. I love my buggy with all my heart and soul. I wish I had --
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: What are you going to name it?
LINA MADRID: I don't know. I'm really bad with names.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: So am I.
LINA MADRID: Is it recruit?
WILLOW: Ah-um. Party's over here.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, well, recruit is the red ant buggy's special ability. So you can recruit up to one red ant to come along with you.
LINA MADRID: I can have my own red ant army?
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, just one for a short period of time.
LINA MADRID: Okay. An army of one. Have you heard of that? That is also an army.
AARIK DOROBIALA: I have. [ Laughter ] And these guys are fast.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Yeah, I know.
LINA MADRID: They're so fast.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Oh, I found a stink bug.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, we can try. We don't have any gas masks.
LINA MADRID: It's already angered.
AARIK DOROBIALA: It's too late. It's happening.
LINA MADRID: We're doing it.
AARIK DOROBIALA: I'm sorry.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Okay, not yet.
AARIK DOROBIALA: I'm sorry. I'm sorry
LINA MADRID: Oh, no. Oh, yep. It's going to attack. Yes. Careful. Hold your breath. Hold your breath. It's stinky.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Oh, no. Oh, no.
LINA MADRID: Okay. All right. Let's go.
AARIK DOROBIALA: There's more of us than it is one of them.
LINA MADRID: Get them buggies! Look at them. Yes.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: Wow!
AARIK DOROBIALA: I got to run. I got to run. I got to run. Oh, my God.
LINA MADRID: Oh, yeah. Okay. Wait. Hold on. I'm just standing in a toxic gas. Why am I doing this?
AARIK DOROBIALA: I will get there when it's clear. Okay.
LINA MADRID: Good thing I made those bandages. Thank you very much for guiding me through that. I don't think I could have done it without you two. We make a great team.
AARIK DOROBIALA: Yeah, we did it together.
LINA MADRID: (laughter) I can't wait to explore more. Thank you so much.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: It was a pleasure. Thank you for letting us take you on this. And super stoked that players now get to play this. Aarik, where do they get to play?
AARIK DOROBIALA: They get to play this wonderful game during early game preview on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series S and X, Xbox PC, as well as Steam.
SHYLA SCHOFIELD: It's now? Yeah.
LINA MADRID: Yeah. Thanks, everyone. Let's go. Woo.
MALIK PRINCE: Ah, no one can stop me. I'm on my ant. Let's go.
LINA MADRID: Malik.
MALIK PRINCE: What's up?
LINA MADRID: It's outro time. Yeah. We're at the end of this episode, but the party is still going on. The event is still running, so we're going to go explore. But before we do, I wanted to get your final thoughts on Grounded 2, the event.
MALIK PRINCE: It was such an incredible event. I got to play the game, got to ride ant, this incredible screen, which makes me feel like I'm actually in the world of Grounded 2. It's all been so incredible. But, of course, the most important part, Grounded 2 is out today in early access and game preview. So be sure to jump in and have your own experiences and adventures. It's going to be incredible.
LINA MADRID: Yeah. I hear there's bugs to eat.
MALIK PRINCE: To eat?
LINA MADRID: Yes. So.
MALIK PRINCE: Should we be brave?
LINA MADRID: I think we should.
MALIK PRINCE: I don't want to eat my friend.
LINA MADRID: Oh.
MALIK PRINCE: It's okay. It's okay. Let's just do it anyway.
LINA MADRID: Look away.
MALIK PRINCE: Yeah, just look away. Look away. Thank you all for watching. See you next time.
LINA MADRID: Bye.
MALIK PRINCE: Let's go. All right, Lina. The moment you've been waiting for.
LINA MADRID: Remember when I said let's be brave? Turns out I'm not brave.
MALIK PRINCE: You know what? We're going to be brave together. All right. Let's talk about what we have here. This is called a --
LINA MADRID: -- Quesadilla Nation.
MALIK PRINCE: So it's a blue corn quesadilla with a little bit of ant garnish on top. And Lina, tell us about what this is.
LINA MADRID: This is the mite loaf. Okay? So it's meatloaf with tomatillo barbecue sauce and crispy bug garnish.
MALIK PRINCE: Which includes grasshoppers and chapulines.
LINA MADRID: Yeah. And yeah, you can see them. They're waving right back at me. I see a little leg there. I see a little head. Hey, maybe --
MALIK PRINCE: Maybe. Well, we have to try both of them.
LINA MADRID: All right.
MALIK PRINCE: All right, I'll take this one.
LINA MADRID: Okay. Oh, okay. (laughter)
MALIK PRINCE: So this is my buddy, my ant buddy.
LINA MADRID: This is fine. People do this and eat this all the time. I just bit into a chunk of it. That's why I'm freaking myself out.
MALIK PRINCE: Me too. To be fair, the ants are -- It really is a garnish. It's barely perceptible.
LINA MADRID: Okay.
MALIK PRINCE: Okay. So that was really good. There we go. It's time for the miteloaf. We only have one of these, but we can just break them in half.
LINA MADRID: You know, I don't want to. You said you were hungry earlier.
MALIK PRINCE: I insist. Ooh.
LINA MADRID: Nope. Nope.
MALIK PRINCE: I will say, the texture of crunching into what I assume was the head of the grasshopper, that's an experience I wasn't expecting. But you know what? Overall, very delicious. I love meatloaf, too, by the way. This is so good.
LINA MADRID: All right.
MALIK PRINCE: Here we go.
LINA MADRID: I would tell you about the flavors, but I can't focus on that right now.
MALIK PRINCE: (laughter) Flavors are good. I loved it. It was delicious.
LINA MADRID: Just chew fast, and you're fine.
MALIK PRINCE: And you're fine. There we go. [ Music ]
