“Mankind’s greatest mistake will be its inability to control the technology it has created.”
That’s the key cautionary phrase for Activision and Treyarch’s brutally dystopian Call of Duty: Black Ops III, which slingshots the Black Ops saga into 2060. Scientists play god, war breaks out on the streets, and the world seems to be a pretty crummy place. You can bet it’s gonna be a hell of a good time.
Black Ops III features three unique game modes (including the return of Call of Duty’s zombies!), and the main campaign can be played co-op by up to four players. You can pre-order the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Digital Edition ($59.99) or Call of Duty: Black Ops III Digital Deluxe Edition ($99.99) on Xbox Live, starting today; both include access to Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s multiplayer beta, while the Digital Deluxe Edition will come a Season Pass, as well as exclusive digital content. Be sure to pre-order the game ahead of time and jump right in when it hits Xbox One on November 6.
