The Dragon Rise event begins now and will run until Monday, October 14 at 7:00 a.m. PDT / 10:00 a.m. EDT. Work together during the event with your fellow players and you can unlock exclusive rewards, including a new pet, costume, furnishings and even bonuses to XP and gold acquisition!
Here’s how it works: Unlock the Northern Elsweyr Pathfinder Achievement by discovering all the Northern Elsweyr zone’s “striking locales.” Every day, we’ll update the Dragon Rise website with the community’s progress, and unlock the different rewards with associated with each milestone.
If you’ve already unlocked the achievement, you can still help unlock bonus rewards by defeating Dragons in the Northern Elsweyr zone and by completing the Dragonhold Prologue quest (coming October 8). Since Elsweyr’s release in June, the community has already become expert Dragon slayers, with over one million of the beasts defeated, so we’re pretty confident the community will rise to the challenge. Unlock these additional tasks, and you’ll enjoy a zone-wide boost to XP and gold gain for the remainder of the event.
But that’s not all! When you defeat Northern Elsweyr’s Dragons and bosses, you also have a chance to acquire a Strongbox that can include items such as crafting materials, style pages, gear sets, and more. Phew!
The Dragon Rise event begins this Thursday, October 3 at 7:00 a.m. PDT / 10:00 a.m. EDT and will conclude on Monday, October 14 at 7:00 a.m. PDT / 10:00 a.m. EDT. Note that this event and its rewards are only available for those who own the Elsweyr Chapter.
