Since launching in November 2020 across the Xbox One family of consoles, we’ve been absolutely blown away by your incredible creations, and everyone here at Frontier is loving how you’ve utterly embraced coaster culture. Now here’s what’s coming next.
Releasing today, the Vintage & World’s Fair Bundle offers two spectacular DLC packs featuring an abundance of material for you to build even more breathtaking parks. The team took inspiration from times gone by, and cultures across the globe, to give you endless creative options. With the Vintage & World’s Fair Bundle serving up international vibes and nostalgic flair, we’re delighted to bring you even more Planet Coaster: Console Edition magic.
With a grand total of ten new rides – comprised of four coasters and six flat rides – over 250 new blueprints, and over 900 shops, facilities, buildings, and scenery, this is our biggest DLC to date. So here’s what’s in store.
Let’s start with the Vintage Pack, a nostalgic throwback to the golden age of coaster parks. For this one, we looked to elegant, turn-of-the-century design, resulting in some serious style I know you’re going to love. You’ll tap into the old-school cool with a diverse range of rides, props, and scenery showcasing new levels of splendor. All in all, the Vintage Pack features two new coasters, five new rides, and over 230 scenery items to help you build a retro wonderland.
The pack’s largest coaster is Zephyrus, a high-speed wooden behemoth taking guests on a thrilling jaunt as nostalgic as it is nerve-shredding. It recalls the earliest ever builds, back before magnetic rails, hydraulic systems, and tubular tracks — a proper history lesson at 100mph. Then there’s Aces Sky, where retro biplanes freely navigate a giant wooden pipe. Completely untethered, the biplanes give riders a miraculous feeling of weightlessness without them ever leaving the ground.
For something laid back, check out Test Flight, which sees a fleet of aircraft soar with style around a central pillar. Each cab is able to bank and barrel roll with a smooth, graceful motion, making it the perfect airborne escape.
Next, we’re talking big wheels. Round the World is a wild Ferris wheel that shifts dynamically on its axis, adding some serious spice to a much-loved fan favorite. Centrum, meanwhile, spins on rip-roaring centrifuge, which tilts at set points to really send its riders round the bend. Finishing off the list are Loop Da Loop, in which inverting cabins swing occupants through the air, and Hurricane, that twirls guests in two-seater cars.
And that’s not all. You can, of course, decorate your parks with all manner of historic props. Think fortune-teller cabinets, gumball dispensers, and popcorn machines. And more bygone magic abounds with rousing barbershop quartets and death-defying trapeze artists, who’ll charm and delight visitors in equal measure. The Vintage Pack is a fitting tribute to those golden oldies.
If it’s a more modern mix you’re after, check out the World’s Fair Pack. An unmissable celebration of global culture, ten vibrant countries give the World’s Fair Pack its internationally iconic themes. Here you’ll find two new coasters, one new tracked ride, and almost 400 scenery pieces paying homage to USA, China, France, Morocco, Italy, Germany, Japan, UK, Mexico, and Spain.
We’ll start with those wonderful coasters. First, there’s Polarity, a rapid transport system using magnetic forces to propel trains forward at immense speeds. The novel, open-top vehicle design and flexible track system are prime demonstrations of engineering excellence. Then there’s Jixxer & Interceptor, a dueling duo of launched coasters locked in a frenetic chase. With seating styled after motorcycles, guests will feel the power as they lean dramatically around each curve and corner.
As well as the rides, a bountiful collection of fresh scenery, props, and items will help you reach peak appeal. Install anything from grand Chinese temples flanked by gleaming dragons, to beautiful Bavarian chalets. On the all-important food front, you can introduce iconic American diners, sumptuous Japanese sushi restaurants, and German bratwurst eateries so your guests can enjoy authentic world cuisine.
We’re so excited to see all your wonderful new creations on the Frontier Workshop. Our online hub lets you share anything you build, whether you’re using piece-by-piece construction, blueprints, landscaping tools, or a combination of everything. From unique shops, to towering coasters, and even entire parks, you can upload anything you make using the materials in these packs for anyone to download, as long as they have the pack too. So let the Vintage & World’s Fair Bundle fuel your imagination.
