Xbox Adaptive Controller Now Available for Pre-Order, Arriving September

A few weeks ago, we unveiled the Xbox Adaptive Controller, a first-of-its-kind controller designed for gamers with limited mobility. It was an exciting moment for us, as we have been on a three year journey to develop this controller in partnership with individuals and organizations from around the world including The AbleGamers Charity, The Cerebral Palsy Foundation, Craig Hospital, SpecialEffect and Warfighter Engaged. Through the team’s collaboration, we learned more than ever about how controllers have a profound impact on one’s gaming experience and how to enable more fans through inclusive design.

To say we’ve been overwhelmed by the response to the Xbox Adaptive Controller is an understatement.  The thoughts and sentiments that our fans shared have been thoughtful, heart-felt and emotionally moving. Introducing the Xbox Adaptive Controller to the world has helped reinforce the notion of exactly how powerful inclusion can be—for organizations, for groups and for individuals.
