The Epic 3D Adventure Game A Knight’s Quest is Coming to Xbox One This Fall

Hi there, Xbox Wire readers! Are you ready to meet Xbox’s newest gaming hero?

Charming and clumsy in equal measure, Rusty isn’t exactly your typical knight. After accidentally starting a cataclysmic chain of events that could destroy the world as he knows it, Rusty is forced to enter the vast kingdom of Regalia to fight mysterious foes, solve mind-bending puzzles and defeat gigantic bosses to fix his mistake.

Taking its inspiration from a host of classic action adventures games, A Knight’s Quest combines the satisfying puzzling of the old days with up-to-date-mechanics. Rusty can rail-grind across huge chasms, wall-run over hidden traps and pull off slick surprise attacks with fast and fluid combat. A Knight’s Quest takes the best bits of the adventure games many of us grew up with and adds in a healthy dose of slick modern visuals for good measure.

As with any adventure game worth its salt, Rusty starts his journey with just a basic sword and shield to his name – but soon enough uncovers Spirit Powers: a series of abilities that allow him to transform the world around him using the elements themselves. Fire, Ice, and Time can be used to take down tricky enemies, traverse the world or solve the many puzzles scattered across each environment.

Starting in the beautiful kingdom of Regalia, Rusty’s adventure will take him to the scorching desert town of Zameris, the ice-covered mountains of Peaky Peaks and a whole bunch of other classic fantasy locales across a 30-hour campaign.

The team has put countless hours of playtime into A Knight’s Quest here at the Curve offices. With its sly sense of humour and beautiful 3D locations, it’s a real love letter to some of the greatest games of all time – with all the bells and whistles of a modern Xbox One title.

Rusty might not be your typical knight, but he can still stand tall with the best of them. We can’t wait for you to try out A Knight’s Quest when it swings onto Xbox One this Fall. Stay tuned for more info in the coming weeks and be sure to follow us on Twitter if you have any questions!
