As you press play on the cassette player, a strange sensation and burst of energy surges through your veins. The transformation is a weird feeling, like nothing you’ve ever experienced before. You feel powerful, invincible, and ready to take on anything that comes your way.

Transform into Monsters… Using Retro Cassette Tapes
You find yourself in Harbourtown, New Wirral, attacked by wild monsters! But the residents choose to fight fire with fire. By recording monsters to retro cassette tapes, players can literally become the monsters they’re fighting, using their newfound powers to battle.
And it doesn’t stop there – Cassette Beasts introduces a revolutionary new feature that allows players to fuse two of their monster forms together to create a powerful Fusion form. Now the citizens of Harbourtown are finally ready to stand up to their monstrous enemies!
Explore a Rich Open World
Explore a vibrant, open world and discover hidden treasures and secrets. In human form you can use various monster abilities to get around: glide, fly, swim, climb, dash, or even turn magnetic!
When you’re ready to take on the world, you won’t have to do it alone. Join forces with a partner and form bonds while spending time together to become a better team. The strength of your relationship will affect how well you can fuse, so don’t forget to complete personal goals and work together to unlock the full potential of the hidden powers of this world, you will need it. The island of New Wirral is home to many hidden secrets and spooky stories as well as interesting characters to meet!
Master a Deep Battle System
Use elemental chemistry to your advantage! Make use of elemental buffs and debuffs to enhance your attacks, weaken your opponent or even alter your opponent’s elemental type. With strategic use of elemental chemistry, and the ability to fully customise your moves and attacks (Stickers). As you explore the world you will even be able to find different rarities of Stickers – the possibilities to customise your monster forms are near endless!
Play Couch Co-op with Friends
Let your friends join in and explore the unknowns of an open world – together! Transform and battle your way to glory in couch co-op and watch your relationship grow stronger.
