PAYDAY 3 – 2nd Closed Beta is available now!

We’re excited to invite all Xbox Insiders on Xbox Series X|S to join the 2nd Closed Beta for PAYDAY 3! Access to the closed beta is available from now until Monday September 11th at 1:00 AM PT. Come join and play while you can!

For this playtest, the Starbreeze Studio development team is looking to stress test the servers. While the Beta will be available for the whole weekend, we would love for everyone to play together at the following suggested times.

  1. Friday September 8th, 4:00 PM PT
  2. Sunday September 10th, 9:00 AM PT

Step out of retirement back into the life of crime in the shoes of the Payday Gang, the envy of their peers and the nightmare of law-enforcement wherever they go. Several years after the crew’s reign of terror over Washington DC has ended, they assemble once again to deal with the threat that roused them out of early retirement.

PAYDAY 3 is still under development and this beta is a part of the development process. Due to this, your experience might be affected. Please remember that this beta does not represent the final game. The game can be unstable at times, or even crash, due to us testing our infrastructure’s capabilities. You might also experience slow matchmaking times or disconnects. As this only represents a part of the game, your progression will not be saved and transferred to the released product.

How to Participate:

  1. Sign-in on your Xbox Series X|S console and launch the Xbox Insider Hub app (or install the Xbox Insider Hub from the Store first if necessary).
  2. Navigate to Previews > PAYDAY 3 – Beta.
  3. Select Join.
  4. Wait for the registration to complete to be directed to the Store and install PAYDAY 3 – Beta!

NOTE: PAYDAY 3 – Beta is only available on Xbox Series X|S consoles.

NOTE: Limited space is available and offered first-come first-served.

Playtest Times:

Start: September 8th, 7:00 AM PT (4:00 PM CEST)

End: September 11th, 1:00 AM PT (10:00 AM CEST)

How to Provide Feedback:

If you experience any issues while playing the PAYDAY 3 – Beta, don’t forget to use “Report a problem” so we can investigate:

  • Hold down the home button on your Xbox controller to open the power menu.
  • Select Report a problem.
  • Select the Games category and PAYDAY 3 – Beta subcategory.
  • Fill out the form with the appropriate details to help our investigation.
