Rocket League’s Frosty Fest is Now Live
Get ready to chill in Rocket League‘s coolest in-game event, Frosty Fest! If you’re new to Rocket League since the free to play launch, Frosty Fest is the annual festive in-game event that brings good tidings, themed items, and now limited time modes!
Log into Rocket League and check out the “nice list” of Event Challenges that unlock wintery items like Holiday Bow Topper, Holiday Hearth Wheels, and even the new Xmas Lights Animated Decal. Golden Gifts are also given out by completing Challenges, and unlock items from series past! Since it’s the season for giving, we wanted to give a free item throughout Frosty Fest. Be sure to claim the Mr. Floeberg snowman Antenna for free in the Item Shop throughout the event, and be on the lookout for additional festive items while you’re there!
Plus, get your snow tires ready for three limited time modes, including the new Winter Breakaway! The snow has hit Throwback Stadium for the first time and the puck is ready to drop for this twist on the hockey-like Snow Day mode. Perform one-timer and wraparound goals on this Arena that resembles a hockey rink! Winter Breakaway is playable now through December 21, and will be followed by Spike Rush on the snowy variant of Throwback Stadium and 2v2 Heatseeker on other snowy Arenas. Check out the complete schedule for Frosty Fest below:
- December 14: Frosty Fest begins with Winter Breakaway
- December 21: Spike Rush returns
- December 28: Heatseeker returns
- January 4: Frosty Fest Ends
Enjoy closing out 2020 with this year’s final in-game event. Grab some hot cocoa, sit by the fire and party up all throughout Frosty Fest!
