Bring Your Spartan to Life with 3D Printing for Halo 5: Guardians

Since the launch of Halo 5: Guardians, fans have been busy customizing their Spartans for battle across the Halo universe. Previously, we announced nine million hours of multiplayer had been played in the first week alone, and today we’re excited to offer fans a unique way to bring those characters to life.

Starting today, 343 Industries and Xbox, in partnership with Sandboxr and 3D Systems, will let fans to create 3D-printed versions of their customized Spartans from Halo 5: Guardians.

Using items unlocked in the game, fans can build a 3D prototype of their Spartan, choosing from 175 armor and helmet types respectively, and more than 30 color variations. 3D Spartans can also be positioned in five different stances with five fixed weapons, and for an added touch of personalization, add up to 18 characters of text on the stand to display your Spartan’s name or slogan.

Halo 5: Guardians 3D Spartans are available in three sizes and start at $29.99 USD:

  • Small (4-4.5 inches): $29.99 USD
  • Medium (5-5.5 inches): $49.99 USD
  • Large (6-7 inches): $89.99 USD

Each figure will also include a Halo 5: Guardians REQ Supply Pack for no additional charge, available until Dec. 6, 2015.
