Your Guide to All Things Xbox at E3 2014
The annual E3 Expo kicks off this coming week in Los Angeles and Xbox is there in full force, with a slew of exciting (and exclusive!) Xbox One announcements, new details on our upcoming library of games, and tons of new trailers and screens that are sure to put a smile on your face. From our pre-show presentation on Monday morning, to E3 itself, Xbox is taking E3 2014 by storm. Here’s your virtual sightseeing guide to all things Xbox that are happening at (and around) next week’s big event.
First things first: Check out our official Xbox @ E3 2014 hub! This is your window into the Xbox’s world at E3 2014. Tune in here for our pre-show and Xbox: Game On Live Event and TV Show (more about that below!), and tell us what YOU want to see at E3. We’ll be sharing the results and much more throughout the week on our official Facebook page, Twitter account, and YouTube channel.
Tune in for the Xbox: Game On Live Event and TV Show. Xbox: Game On, the official Xbox E3 2014 Live Event and TV Show, kicks off on Monday, June 9. Our pre-show starts at 9:00 AM PDT, before the show kicks off nice and proper at 9:30 AM PDT – followed by an immediate post-show on Twitch.tv, with interviews featuring some of the top Xbox development talent. You can watch it all live on Spike TV, on your Xbox One or Xbox 360 console, on Xbox.com or on your Windows Phone. Definitely make sure to tune in, since this is where we’ll be revealing our E3 2014 announcements to the world!
Attend our community events. We’ve planned a number of exciting events leading up to (and during) E3.
On Sunday, June 8 from 1:00-3:00 PM PDT (line opens at 11:00 AM), one hundred lucky guests at our Century City Microsoft Store will be entered in a raffle to get tickets to Monday’s Xbox: Game On live event.
On Wednesday, June 11 from 6:00-9:00 PM PDT, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson will be hosting a “Sunset Overdrive” event at our Century City Microsoft Store, where you can go hands-on with the game before anyone else, and chug some ice-cold Overcharge Delirium XT. Check out our ID@Xbox line-up on Twitch! Each day during E3, we’ll be focusing on two ID@Xbox titles per day, and taking viewer questions to lots of different developers about the many fantastic games that they are bringing to Xbox One. You can see it all on Twitch.tv, throughout the show – and we’ll have lots of other big games to show you there, as well!
And finally, if you see anything you’re excited to get your hands on, we’ve got a special deal for you: From June 8 through June 15 (or while supplies last), you can head to your local Microsoft retail store in the U.S., Canada, or Puerto Rico to trade up to five used console games (they have to be in good condition, mind you), to get a $10 (at minimum!)
