It’s a Happy Holiday Season With the Xbox Ambassadors Program

If you’re looking for more chances to get involved with all things Xbox this holiday, then the Xbox Ambassadors Program has you covered! Next week, Xbox community members can unlock holiday-themed surprises and other rewards by doing things they already do – like Tweeting, watching YouTube videos, and learning about Xbox products and services. Whether you’re just buying your first Xbox console or have been around from the start, the Xbox Ambassadors Program has a spot for you. Ambassadors are just about everywhere this holiday season. They were some of the first Xbox fans to use Clubs and the Looking for Group (LFG) feature in Preview, and thanks to the most recent console update, anyone with an Xbox One or the Xbox App can join the Xbox Ambassadors Club. It’s a great way to make friends, share information and find someone to game with. Clubs and LFG aren’t the only places where Ambassadors are breaking onto the scene, though. Last month, over 100 Ambassadors shared helpful information with fellow gamers on Twitter. Already a fan of Twitter, and think you’d enjoy Tweeting the Xbox community as an Ambassador? All you need to do is follow these steps:

1. Join the Xbox Ambassadors Program at ambassadors.xbox.com
2. Click “Get Started” under the Ambassadors on Twitter section of the Join page
3. Authenticate a new or existing Twitter account
4. Start reaching out to others in 140 characters or less

The team behind the Xbox Ambassadors Program are big believers in “the more, the merrier” and hope to see you Tweeting soon! Not so sure about Tweeting? Ambassadors are also active on YouTube! With the launch of the new Ambassadors on YouTube Forum, anyone can share an Xbox-related video with the community. The Ambassadors on YouTube initiative is by the gamer for the gamer. So, if you’ve got an awesome game guide or a video that explains a feature of the Xbox One console, post it in the Forum linked above – you may just see it promoted by Team Xbox. It’s mostly fun and games as a member of the Xbox Ambassadors Program, but there is a serious side. After all, nothing makes something more fun than understanding it. The Ambassadors website now features an expanded space for informational materials and quizzes, called the Academy.
