Celebrate Women in Gaming’s Recent Event with the Xbox Insider Team

Hello, Xbox Insiders! Today, the Xbox Insider Team would like to give a special shout out to Women in Gaming, a Team Xbox-driven group dedicated to celebrating women within the interactive and entertainment tech industry. Last April, Women in Gaming was well-represented during the Game Developers Conference (GDC), and this year, the group organized their very own rally.

The 2018 Women in Gaming Rally took place last Tuesday, March 20, at the Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco. It included a series of panels and keynotes where women across the gaming industry discussed game design, inclusivity in tech and much more.

As a woman in gaming, it’s always thrilling for me to see inclusivity recognized and celebrated! In fact, very recently, two members of my team appeared in #WCW posts on the Women in Gaming Instagram – they were excited to see the posts, and even more excited to share some advice with other women looking to get started in the gaming industry.
