Madden season is here and it’s time to get your stick skills in game shape and start dominating those intense head-to-head match-ups.
Madden NFL 19 brings the digital NFL experience to a new level. Whether you’re a returning player or this is your first season, there’s tons to dive into. You want to build your NFL dream team? Madden Ultimate Team is the destination to assemble a roster filled with the greatest names in football, both past and present. Let’s break down what you need to know to build your Madden Ultimate Team.
This season, contracts are gone, so that’s one less resource to manage. Player progression also allows you to keep your favorite NFL stars and make them the foundation of your MUT roster with Training Points. But the first thing you’ll want to do to boost your team is to jump into the Solo and Daily Challenges. As you fight your way through, you’ll earn better players to help fill out your starting roster.
And really, it’s all about getting the best players possible, so you’ll also want to keep an eye on the Auction House and snag some of the cheaper players with those Coins you’ve earned with all the Challenges you’ve completed.
One other tip: if you’re new to MUT and Madden in general, there’s a trick that helps you if you’re not confident on the defensive side of things, the Defensive Assist function. Just hold LB and the AI will do the rest until you get more confident.
If you’re a returning player, that same assist feature is nerfed a bit in All-Pro and All-Madden difficulty settings, so it’ll be more on your skills than anything else. Also, Real Player Motion delivers a new level of control, but to execute those sick stick moves, you’ll have to know when to hold down Sprint and when not to.
