Activision and Infinity Ward Announce Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Coming to Xbox One October 25
Take on the role of a highly-skilled tier one operator in a gritty narrative affecting the global balance of power in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare; a powerful, reimagined experience and all-new title built from the ground up by award-winning developer Infinity Ward, and set for global release on Xbox One Friday, October 25.
A Heart-Pounding Single-Player Campaign
The new Modern Warfare campaign mode hits hard, with a thought-provoking, intense, and emotionally charged single-player experience for players on Xbox One. Shining a light on the changing nature of modern war, players are set to fight alongside a diverse cast of characters, from international special forces to freedom fighters.
This is edgy, culturally-relevant, and sometimes shocking gameplay you’ll work within the grey area of the rules of engagement, taking place across Europe and into the expanses of the Middle East. There’s several heart-pounding operations to undertake, including stealth infiltrations, close-quarter missions, and long-range combat where you must rely on tactical decision-making.
Single-Player. Co-op. Multiplayer: A Unified Experience
Beyond the gripping single-player campaign, expect a unified narrative experience and progression across the entire game, including single-player story campaign, online multiplayer, and co-op experiences.
