Join the Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance Xbox Insider Preview!

We’ve partnered with Wizards of the Coast to bring Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance to all Xbox Insiders on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows 10 for a limited time! Not an Xbox Insider? Join by downloading the Xbox Insider Hub app (it’s that easy)!

In this limited preview we’re looking for your feedback on multiplayer and co-op, so grab a few friends and join in. Be sure to report any issues you find via Report a problem (hold down the Xbox button and select Report a problem from the power menu). After you’ve spent some time playing, please also complete the surveys in the Xbox Insider Hub.

You can check out the full release of Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance on June 22nd, arriving day one on Xbox Game Pass!

About the Game:

In Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance, play as Drizzt Do’Urden, Bruenor Battlehammer, Wulfgar, and Catti-brie investing in the characters’ unique feats, loot, moves, and skill trees in this action RPG emphasizing combat.

Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is cooperative, social adventuring with up to 4-player online play. Adventure through the formidable landscapes of Icewind Dale with experiences that change based on party size, who’s in the party, and what skill levels those characters are.

Playtest Details:

  • Playtest Starts: June 16, 2021 @ 3 PM PT (10 PM GMT)
  • Playtest Ends: June 19, 2021 @ 8 PM PT (3 AM GMT)

How to Participate:

  1. On your Xbox console or Windows 10 PC, sign-in and launch the Xbox Insider app
  2. Navigate to Previews > Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance
  3. Select Join
  4. Wait for the registration to complete to be directed to the Store and install Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance
    • If you’re having trouble accessing the Store page on your Windows 10 PC, please ensure you’re signed into the Windows 10 Store with the same Microsoft account you used to join the preview in the Xbox Insider Hub app.

NOTE:

  • This playtest is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows 10.
  • Limited space is available and offered first-come first-served.
  • If you do not see the Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance preview in the Xbox Insider Hub app, it is not available in your market.

How to Provide Feedback:

If you encounter any issues while playing Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance, don’t forget to use “Report a problem” so we can investigate:

  1. Hold down the Xbox button on your Xbox controller
  2. Select Report a problem
  3. Select the Games category and the Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance subcategory
  4. Fill out the form with the appropriate details to help our investigation
