Payday 3 – Closed Beta Begins August 2

We’re excited to invite all Xbox Insiders on Xbox Series X|S to join the Payday 3 – Closed Beta next weekend starting on August 2nd at 10 AM CEST (1 AM PT)! Join now to secure your spot for the playtest!

Payday 3 is still under development and this beta is a part of the development process. Due to this, your experience might be affected. Please remember that this beta does not represent the final game. The game can be unstable at times, or even crash, due to us testing our infrastructure’s capabilities. You might also experience slow matchmaking times or disconnects. As this only represents a part of the game, your progression will not be saved and transferred to the released product.

Payday 3 is the much-anticipated sequel to one of the most popular co-op shooters ever. Since its release, Payday-players have been reveling in the thrill of a perfectly planned and executed heist. That’s what makes Payday a high-octane, co-op FPS experience without equal.

Step out of retirement back into the life of crime in the shoes of the Payday Gang, the envy of their peers and the nightmare of law-enforcement wherever they go. Several years after the crew’s reign of terror over Washington DC has ended, they assemble once again to deal with the threat that roused them out of early retirement.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

  1. Sign-in on your Xbox Series X|S console and launch the Xbox Insider Hub app (or install the Xbox Insider Hub from the Store first if necessary).
  2. Navigate to Previews > Payday 3 – Beta.
  3. Select Join.
  4. Wait for the registration to complete to secure your spot for the Closed Beta!

NOTE: Payday 3 – Beta begins on August 2nd at 10 AM CEST (1 AM PT). Joining now secures your spot for the playtest. Return to the Xbox Insider Hub on August 2nd and select Show in Store to begin installing the game. You’ll also receive an Xbox Insider notification when the playtest begins.

NOTE: Payday 3 – Beta is only available on Xbox Series X|S consoles.

NOTE: Limited space is available and offered first-come first-served. We plan to open more space through the beta weekend so if you are unable to join, please check back later to join.

Playtest Times:

Start: August 2nd, 10:00 AM CEST (1:00 AM PT / 8:00 AM GMT)

End: August 7th, 10:00 AM CEST (1:00 AM PT / 8:00 AM GMT)

How to Provide Feedback

If you experience any issues while playing the Payday 3 – Beta, don’t forget to use “Report a problem” so we can investigate:

  • Hold down the home button on your Xbox controller to open the power menu.
  • Select Report a problem.
  • Select the Games category and Payday 3 – Beta subcategory.
  • Fill out the form with the appropriate details to help our investigation.
