With diverse biomes and beautiful natural features, Mississippi Acres Preserve is home to some of the best hunting spots in the American South. Many travel here to experience the thrill of river hunting, while others come to explore the stunning environments that make this place so special.

Why not start your day with a morning trek down the snaking river, past old fishing houses and iconic cypress trees. Later in the afternoon, wind down in one of the reserve’s many outposts and map out tonight’s hunt. Wherever you decide to go, Mississippi Acres Preserve is full of exceptional hunting and outdoors adventures. 

In terms of game, there are nine distinctive animal species that roam in Mississippi Acres Preserve. Here, hunters will find the Gray Fox elegentatlly traversing the forest floor, and the skittish Northern Bobwhite Quails and Eastern Wild Turkey hiding in the thick brush.
