Gears of War Esports Takes Over the Flagship Microsoft Store This Weekend

This weekend, the flagship Microsoft Store in New York will host the Gears Esports Fall Regionals tournament, where some of Gears of War’s most prestigious pro teams will battle it out for a $20,000 prize pool as part of Season 2 of the Gears Pro Circuit. The flagship Microsoft Store will host the tournament on Saturday, November 11 starting at 11 a.m. EST and Sunday, November 12 starting at noon EST. Over the course of the weekend, 24 Gears teams will compete in a double elimination bracket for the $20,000. Gears of War 4 will be taking over multiple floors of the flagship store, including Mixer NYC Studio, a digital production facility specifically designed for live audience gaming events. Throughout the event, Mixer NYC Studio’s broadcast team will bring commentary, analysis and player interviews to fans watching at home and in person.
